Mainly sunny and cold at first but warm during the afternoon. Partly cloudy over the central parts in the Capricorn region but cloudy over the eastern parts with a few fog patches. Cloudy with fog over the Lowveld at first but it should clear and become sunny during the day.  Mainly sunny and cold over the central interior with a few frost patches in the north-east Freestate. Sunny and mild over the western interior but warm to hot in the afternoon. Cloudy with fog along the south-west Cape coast due to a coastal low but it should clear ahead of the cold front that is expected over the coastal areas by tonight. Away from the coast mostly sunny and warm during the day but it should become cooler from tonight, overnight due to the arrival of the cold front. Ahead of the coastal low over the south and south-east coast it will become warm during the day due to off-shore flow or as it is called bergwind conditions.

Good morning everyone:

A fair amount of low level cloud has moved in over the eastern interior and there are also a couple of places with fog this morning. The upper-air is stable thus I do not expect significant rain. Also cloudy with fog over the central and north-eastern parts of Limpopo thus if you travel in these regions take care and drive carefully. Mainly sunny over the central interior but not extremely cold with a few fog patches over the north-eastern Freestate. Although the flow is somewhat off-shore over the south-west Cape coast there is also a few haze and or fog patches along the coast but that should clear and become warmer.  The increase in cloud cover over the northern interior kept the minimums a bit higher but on the flip side maximums will be lower.

One can see the weak cold front just brushing the south and south-east coast with a few cloudy patches while it has become cloudy along the east coast behind a coastal low. Cloudy conditions will slowly spread northwards as the day progress to include the Low and Highveld by later this afternoon when it will also become cooler from the south. A few odd patches cloud over the south-west Cape coast but that should  clear as the day progress. Nothing much over the interior, just on the cold side but not very cold, but sunny and  mild during the day and warm in the north. In most cases not to bad thus enjoy the day.

Manly sunny and on the cool side at first with a fair amount of industrial smoke or haze over the central and southern parts but sunny and warm during the day. Similar conditions are present over the northern interior except that there is still a bit of cloud over the north-eastern sectors. Sunny and cold over the central and western interior with a few light frost patches over the North-East Freestate but warm during the day. Cloudy and cool over the south-weste Cape coast at first and there is a very small chance for a few light rain patches in the mountains due to a weak cold front. Partly cloudy patches along the south and south-east Cape coast but mostly sunny away from the coast. Sunny and mild over Kwazulu-Natal but warm in the afternoon. In general not to bad for this time of the year.

Good morning everyone;

Sunny and on the cold at sunrise but the industrial smoke and or haze should clear during the morning with better visibility by late morning. This is standard stuff when it start to get cold in the morning. Mainly sunny over the Freestate, Northern Cape and North-West that also start on the cold side but it will warm up over most areas during the day into the lower 20,s and high 20’s in the west. There is a few cloudy patches over the north-eastern parts of Limpopo at first but should also clear while fog patches may occur in the Lowveld at first clearing after 9am and become warmer. There is a slight low level sea breeze over the south-west Cape coast with haze and an odd fog patch but with mainly off-shore flow expected it should become sunny and warm apart from a few high cloud that may move in from the west. Sunny and mild, cold over the interior, over Kwazulu-Natal but warm in the afternoon. In short, in most cases a lovely day across S.A.

Good morning everyone:

Apart from a few patches cloud over the extreme northern and north-eastern parts of Limpopo mainly sunny and on the cold side this morning except the south-west and south coast of the Cape with fairly high minimums due to semi bergwind conditions. This time of the year and for the next couple of months you will just about always have a lot of industrial haze and or smoke over city areas that lead to reduced visibility. Across the country it will become sunny and warm during the day but hot over the south-west and south coast areas with bergwinds. Lovely day down south to enjoy the weather and for those that are lucky to have the day off can visit the beach.

It is cloudy with fog patches over the Low and Highveld at first but should clear as the day progress and that include the greater parts of the eastern and central Limpopo. Over the central and western interior the day will start on the cold side but mild during the day when warm in the north. Sunny and cool over the south-west Cape, the south and south-east Cape coast but warm during the day. Sunny and mild over Kwazulu-Natal but warm in the afternoon except the Drakensberg regions where it will be at best mild.

Good morning everyone:

Overcast and cool along the south-west Cape coast with dense fog this morning but should burn away by 9am and become sunny. (Only a weak coastal low moving around the Cape this morning.) There is also a bit of on-shore flow along the north coast of Kwazulu-Natal, the Lowveld and Limpopo with cloudy patches and also a few fog patches in the valley area, thus take care when you land up in fog! Although no that much cloud cover as such but there is a fair amount of haze over the central and southern parts of Gauteng with the result that minimums are somewhat higher (still coolish) but visibility is reduced to less than 8km. This will also put a lid on maximum temperatures. This should also clear as soon as the surface temperature reach the inversion temperature at around 16 C. Cold at first over the central and western interior but with northerly flow day time temperatures will recover rapidly to the mid and even high 20’s. No significant falls of rain is expected across the country!

There is a bit of on-shore flow along the south-east Cape coast as well as the Lowveld and the eastern parts of Limpopo with a few cloudy patches and there may even be a bit of fog patches along the escarpment areas in the south and east. Elsewhere mostly sunny and on the cold side with temperatures well below 10 C and even a few places with temperatures below 3C. 3C and lower mean that there may be a few low lying spots in these areas with light frost. Mostly sunny over the western Cape but due to sea breezes along the coast there may be a few cloudy patches that may develop. Short and sweet this morning.

Sunny and cool over most of the country with a few patches cold over the central and western interior with light frost. (Frost may occur in windless conditions when temperatures are below 3-4 C at 1.2 meter above ground) A few spots have a bit of cloud over the Drakensberg this morning but should also clear as the day progress . Along the south-west Cape coast there is a few spots with fog this morning but should burn away rather fast. With all the sunshine day time temperatures will recover to average for this time of the year and it may even touch onto warm over the western interior.
