Still on the cold side over most of the interior but mostly temperatures are above zero degrees this morning. Bloemfontein sits at 2C but there is a bit of shallow fog and that will feel colder than one can measure but the fog will dissipate as the sun rises and become mild. There are also patches of cloud over parts of the western parts of North-West but I expect this cloud to lift and dissipate as well. It will however keep a lit o the maximum temperatures. There is also a bit of cloud with an odd shower in and around the western Cape coastal belt and extends towards the south coast. The coastal low has started to move across the central coastal areas of KZN with the wind now south-west. This will keep the moisture levels a bit higher along the coast and at the same time maximum temperatures will be somewhat lower. In general not bad over most of the country but that also means that the fire danger index remain on the high side over the interior areas. Take care and keep safe!
