Apple today released an update to Boot Camp which introduces support for Microsoft Windows 10 according to a new
support document
The sixth version of Boot Camp is not available for OS X, but some users MacRumors forum members have pointed
out that the update is available on the Windows partition in Boot Camp, Apple’s tool to allow owners a Mac to run both OS X and
Windows operating systems designer.
Support for Windows 10 is only available for Macs with OS X Yosemite and the latest version of Boot Camp installed,
it will automatically download the necessary software required to run Windows 10 on a Mac.
Boot Camp requires a genuine copy of Windows 10 to a new installation. Windows users 7, 8 and 8.1 may upgrade to
Windows 10 for free, directly from their Windows partition.
