6 great features that Apple should “steal” from the Galaxy Note 7

The Galaxy Note 7 is undoubtedly one of the best smartphone currently in circulation. For this reason Cult Of Mac has decided to select six great features that Apple should “steal” the competition. Let’s find out together!

This is a much discussed feature, which could reach with its new iPhone 7. The water resistance on mobile devices is becoming more widespread and it is definitely very comfortable in many situations.Think about how many times you’ve had to write a message in the rain, or bringing the phone to the sea.In all these situations the smartphone is exposed to various risks, so having a kind of “guarantee” on its water resistance can be really handy.

Iris scanners

Apple has released a bit ‘fashion of fingerprint sensors, with the introduction of the Touch ID in the iPhone 5s. Samsung with its Galaxy Note 7 has decided to go further, proposing a new sensor that can detect even our retina. Iris scanners thus fails to recognize our eyes and unlock the device if we are to look at him. Really good move, that could work very well on the iPhone, when deployed with a certain efficiency.

S Pen

Although Steve Jobs hated the stylus to death, it seems that Apple has decided to make one. We are talking about Apple’s Pencil, which is enjoying considerable success on the iPad Pro. One of the main features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is undoubtedly its S Pen, a very handy accessory, which could serve also to the Plus iPhone owners. I wonder if Apple is planning to build one special for his iPhone 7 Plus.

Wireless charging

Another much discussed feature is the one linked to the wireless charging of Apple’s smartphone. Until now, the iPhone does not support this type of charging, but this could change now with the iPhone 7. This is certainly not a killer-feature, but in view of the possible removal of input jack for headphones, either Wireless charging could be a solution if you want to listen to music and charge your device simultaneously. Recall that in the case of removing the input jack for headphones, it is likely that Apple will present the new EarPods headphones with Lightning connector.

Quick charge

Always refill our device talking, fast charging is another of those functions required by the time iPhone users. Even on this there have been several rumors in recent weeks, but we do not know anything particularly certain about it. We can only say that the rapid charging of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 provides for the achievement of the 50% of battery life in just 30 minutes. Definitely a remarkable achievement, given the capacity of its battery.

QUAD HD display

The Super AMOLED display with a Quad HD resolution makes very much difference against the LCD of the iPhone? The answer is yes. The difference shows how, because the LCD technology, despite being greatly optimized by Apple, is quite old. The resolution of 1440p Galaxy Note 7 against the iPhone 6s Plus 1080p is another advantage of the Samsung smartphone against what Apple. The Cupertino company unfortunately does not intend to bring a new type of display for this year, in fact, the arrival of OLED screens on the iPhone is planned for 2017.

  1. I don’t agree about the stylus being a benefit on a phone. I’ve used them on computer systems for Computer Aided Design work and on phones in the past. The CAD activity requires precision so its necessary but the phone doesn’t need this so why bother? It gets lost or left at home which is a pain. The human “stylus” is better as its attached to my hand!
