We have repeatedly reiterated that, as ever this year, the smartphone market is saturated. Pretty much everyone has a smartphone mid / high-end, with good performance, which is why the sales of all producers fell, including Apple.

However, according to Strategy Analytics , it emerges a very important, namely that the iPhone 6s is the best selling smartphone in the world in the second and third quarters of 2016.

In particular, 14.2 million iPhones sold 6s, in second place we find the iPhone 6 with 8.5 million and only in third place with Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and 8.3 million sales in total.

The latest model of the iPhone then, has definitely sold less than the previous one, but enough to be the best selling in the world, doubling (almost) the figures of Samsung with its flagship model.
