iPhone 12 5.4 ″ vs iPhone 7 vs iPhone SE: size comparison

The images of the fictitious units of the new iPhone models end up on the net every year, a few months earlier than Apple’s usual September-October launch period.

The fictitious models of iPhone 12 based on leaked schemes have been circulating for the network for some time. Not happy with the size comparison between the 5.4 ″ iPhone 12 and the original iPhone SE models, a user purchased the 5.4 ″ dummy model to compare it with the original iPhone SE and iPhone 7.

With the 5.4-inch iPhone 12, Apple wants to convince current iPhone SE and iPhone 7 owners who want something more modern, in terms of design than the 2020 iPhone SE, to buy a new iPhone model.

“ IZac ” notes that the square edges of the 5.4-inch model make it more manageable in the hand as it facilitates the grip of the device and helps with one-handed use. The iPhone 12 is larger than the original iPhone SE – 6mm wider and 3mm narrower – but has a slightly more compact profile than the iPhone 7.

iZac also claims that the 5.4-inch model is about 1mm thicker than the iPhone SE.

Apple is expected to launch four new variants of the iPhone 12 this year. In addition to the smaller 5.4-inch model, there will also be a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 alongside the iPhone 12 Pro models with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes respectively.

It is unclear whether the Pro models will present a display with a 120Hz refresh rate or not , although it is expected that all four models will have OLED displays and 5G connectivity. Apple also plans not to include a power adapter in the iPhone 12 package and will instead sell a 20W USB-C power adapter separately. Finally, it is rumored that the iPhone 12 line is characterized by a design similar to iPad Pro with flat edges , with the Pro model also obtaining the LiDAR scanner.
