A new image leaked on the net shows the alleged packaging of the iPhone 14 Pro and reveals interesting details about the next devices.
A photo posted on the Chinese social media service Weibo reveals that all variants of the iPhone 14 will have 6GB of RAM and also some details on the device’s packaging.Advertising
The validity of the image cannot be confirmed, but it is not uncommon to see images of the iPhone packaging prior to Apple’s official presentation. The same thing happened last year a couple of weeks before the iPhone 13 was launched, just as it happened for the iPhone 12 in 2020.
Weibo’s post claims that all devices in the iPhone 14 range will have 6GB of RAM this year. In comparison, iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have 4GB of RAM, while iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have 6GB of RAM. So, should the image prove accurate, the iPhone 14 will have more RAM than the iPhone 13, while the iPhone 14 Pro will remain with 6GB.
This would mark the third consecutive year that the iPhone Pros have 6GB of RAM. A previous rumor suggested that the iPhone 14 Pro would have 8GB of RAM.
Apple, of course, doesn’t focus on the amount of RAM inside the iPhone, and it’s not a specification that the company details. It’s a smart decision from Apple as the iPhone usually lags behind Android devices when it comes to the amount of RAM, but the tight integration between the iPhone and iOS hardware makes up for the gap.
Today’s leak also gives us a look at the sticker that will be on the side of the iPhone 14 Pro packaging, showing the “iPhone 14 Pro” branding. Furthermore, it also reveals that the Pro models in the range will arrive in a white box this year.
Finally, another image also shows the front of the device which appears to be completely different from what has emerged so far.
According to various rumors, in fact, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be equipped with a new design of the pill-shaped notch plus hole, while the device depicted in the package shows a single pill-shaped notch .
In any case, in a few days Apple will present the new iPhone 14 models during the highly anticipated “Far Out” event scheduled for September 7th and we will discover the new design of the devices.
